A Love Rekindled

In 2012 at the University of Lagos, after a quiet Sunday meeting at the Abule-Oja Congregation, a burst of rhythmic laughter cut through the silence, pulling me from my thoughts of special relativity. The sound of it felt like a melody, and I looked up to see where it came from. There she was, a vision of black caramel, her laughter echoing in my heart.

I couldn't take my eyes off her, but I made no move, unsure of what to do. Life moved on, and we lost touch, but the memory of her laughter stayed with me, lingering like a sweet echo in my mind.

Years passed, and on October 4, 2024, we reconnected on Instagram. It felt like no time had passed at all. When I saw her name on the screen, everything came rushing back. The connection, the warmth, the laughter. It was like picking up right where we left off.

From that moment, our story began again. Each conversation, each laugh, each moment shared brought us closer. We realized that the love and joy we found in each other was only the beginning of something beautiful. We began to build our future together, one day at a time.
